My father is a lion.
That makes him a little strange. 
Through “the mistakes of youth,”
He came to look like this.
He would say that
He was sorry for not being normal
And the kids in class
Would say things like,
“Your father is weird.”
But my father showed me
Lots of wondrous magic,
And even being a lion is cool,
So for me,
I really love
that “strange father.”
